In the thick of it
It doesn’t get much more central than this; step outside the door and you’ll have all the best city scenery within clapping distance. Looking for things to do near The Capitol Hotel Sydney? You’re never short of local attractions, with Chinatown, Surry Hills, and Darling Quarter in the neighbourhood, and the Capitol Theatre right next door.
Head towards the water and you’ll find Hyde Park, Sydney Tower Eye, Pitt Street Mall, Australian Museum, the Art Gallery of NSW, Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), Sydney Opera House, Royal Botanic Gardens, and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Once down at Circular Quay, get a ferry across to Luna Park, Cockatoo Island, Taronga Zoo, and Manly. Pop on over to Darling Harbour for WILD LIFE Zoo, Madame Tussauds, and SEA LIFE Aquarium.
For laneways, restaurants, breweries and historic pubs, make your way to The Rocks. From there, it’s not far to waterfront precinct Barangaroo, endless dining options and Wulugul Walk.
